In 1928, Grace Budd was kidnapped by the werewolf of Wisteria, Albert
Fish. A national search for the missing girl culminated in his eventual capture, but
not before Fish taunted Delia, the girl’s mother, with a profane letter detailing the
kidnapping. Using historical documents, Grace’s journey from a promising
daughter to victim is traced like a floating seed from a dandelion and her mother
confronts her incredible loss.
